Adult devils mostly keep to themselves, although they may pile into the same feeding spot like coworkers mysteriously appearing whenever someone brings cake. They are great swimmers, enjoy a splash when it is hot, and can apparently glow under UV light, because being a compact little chaos mammal with a scary scream was not enough. They also had to have nightclub lighting.

Sure, they can make a sound that suggests an argument is happening in a haunted garbage disposal. They have powerful jaws, questionable table manners, and the kind of face that says, “I know where the snacks are, and I’m willing to make this everybody’s problem.” But they are also marsupials, which means their babies are called joeys, or, somehow even better, imps. That is not a scientific term so much as a name someone gives the chaotic little creature they found living under a bridge.
